GEN / Freshies' Guide to TP Library: Our Physical Resources

Books

Books can be very useful for an introduction, a background or in-depth information on a topic. Use Poly LibSearch on the library website to search for books. Start with 1 or 2 broad keywords for instance "early childhood".

  • TP Library - Physical books, e-books, journals, articles and more from TP Library
  • Poly Libraries - Resources from TP Library catalogue and physical books from NP, NYP and SP Library catalogue

Books can be found in various collections and locations within the library. Always use Poly LibSearch to find their exact location.

  • Open Shelf collection is located from Levels 6 to 8.
  • Fiction collection can be found at Level 6.
  • Gallery Collection is located at Temasek Gallery at Level 9.
  • New books and Restricted Collection are located at Level 2.
  • Closed Stacks are older materials kept internally but available upon request.
