Transcultural Studies: Global Studies

This subject provides essential skills and knowledge to prepare students for a global experience. Students will build their global mindset and perspectives, learn how to be effective in cross-cultural collaborators and embrace cultural diversity by examining elements of culture.

Through their experiential learning, students will translate their experience to their cognitive, social and psychological mindsets. They will build perspectives on the global opportunities and risks through research on countries using the PESTLE framework. They will employ cross-cultural communication principles and skills using the Trompenaars Hampden-Turner Seven Dimensions of Culture framework in real-life context.
