Exhibits at TP gallery

Temasek Gallery showcases projects from TP's centres of excellence and schools.

You Won’t Believe Its Trash

This outfit created by DES/Diploma in Apparel Design & Merchandising junior, Nur Aqilah Binte Arman, was shortlisted as one of the top 10 designers for the "You Won’t Believe Its Trash” sustainable fashion competition organized by Lendlease.

RE:IN Cards

Casino operators, such as Marina Bay Sands, discard a substantial number of playing cards daily. These cards need to be carefully disposed of and incinerated, contributing to the overall waste generated. Students from the School of Applied Science have repurposed these cards into functional items like coasters, magnets, plates, and trinket dishes.

COI-CHP Complementary Health Products

The Centre of Innovation for Complementary Health Products (COI-CHP) at the School of Applied Science is a one-stop national center designed to support CHP enterprises in meeting the growing challenges and technological advances. The showcased exhibits highlight industry innovation collaborations (more information).

Recycled Park Bench

TP’s Green Park Benches were installed at Bedok Reservoir Park in December 2018. The benches were created using a technique developed by TP to recycle urban waste to create outdoor facilities and furniture without compromising the environment. The benches are cheaper than similar park benches and require less manpower to manufacture. The project won a Silver in the 2019 MOE Innergy Awards (more information).

Low GI Ready-to-Eat Meals

TP collaborated with NTUC Foodfare to develop a range of Low Glycemic Index (GI) frozen ready meals. Students from the Diploma in Baking and Culinary Science created the meals and worked with Foodfare to translate the prototypes for commercialisation. The meals were also clinically tested by TP’s Glycemic Index Research Unit. The ready to eat meals are sold at all NTUC Fairprice supermarkets
