Transcultural Studies: Introduction

Introduction

Embracing a global perspective not only broadens your understanding of diverse cultures and viewpoints but also enhances your adaptability and problem-solving skills in a multicultural environment. As future leaders and professionals, a global mindset equips you to navigate and thrive in an increasingly competitive and interconnected job market. It fosters empathy, innovation, and collaboration, essential traits for addressing complex global challenges and contributing meaningfully to a more inclusive and sustainable world.

Experiential Learning

To complement academic learning, students get to be engaged on experiential learning. This includes travelling—physically or virtually—to pique our curiosity in our neighbours, their cultures, their social/business environment, participating in exchange programmes to connect with people beyond our shores, embarking on community projects or hackathons, doing an overseas internship and more.
