Law students may require the use of specialised electronic resources more than most students, due to their specific information needs. Check out some of our subscribed electronic resources for Law students below.
A common electronic resource utilised by students is the Lawnet database. LawNet is a database used for legal research, information and transactions. Users can conduct research on Singapore primary legal materials (Singapore Law Reports, unreported judgments and legislation) and secondary materials (such as Parliamentary reports, legal news, textbooks and journals).
Full time BUS/LAW students should have their own login to Lawnet, provided by BUS school. Other full time students and part time students may access Lawnet using the accounts from the Library, available here.
Do note that only five concurrent licences are available, meaning that only five people may login to the database at any one point in time.
