What if I have problems accessing the e-textbook?

Just like regular hardcopy library books, e-textbooks have limits on how many students can borrow or read the e-textbook at one time. If you find the e-textbook already loaned out, please wait and try again after 3 hours.

If you face difficulty with downloading due to slow network speed, please try to read online instead.

If you are still facing problems, please screencap the error messages and email the screencap to libacq@tp.edu.sg.

How to download?

To read downloaded e-textbook offline from VitalSource, install VitalSource Bookshelf app.

Please refer to online guide for video tutorials and steps on how to download VitalSource Bookshelf apps for desktop and mobile devices.

How to access via mobile?

If you'd like to read the downloaded e-book on your mobile device, please access it on your mobile device then download it (ie. not download on your laptop and transfer to mobile device).

How to renew the e-textbook?

There is no renew function. Please access the e-textbook again and borrow it again.

What happens after the loan period?
