Newslink contains articles and images from SPH newspaper publications. Note that it can only search two years at a time by selecting the date range. By default, it provides results from the current two years.
Enter search term(s) in the search box at the top of the page and click Search. Newslink automatically shows related articles from all SPH publications above from the current 2 years. If you are looking for articles older than the current two years, use Advanced Search to indicate the date range.
The results list is sorted by date descending, which will show you the latest article first To change the display order, click on the Sort by box.
For Advanced Search, click on it to the right of the search bar.
In the result list, there are two ways you view the article. In this example, the article is available in text and PDF. (Note the symbols)
Clicking on the article title will show you the text article (without images). If you click on the page number, e.g. Page 1, the PDF of the page will be automatically downloaded to your PC.
In your results list, a symbol appears next to the headline. But what does it represent? It refers to the format that the article is available in:
From the Library A-Z e-resources listing, click on Newslink.
Newslink is also listed under E-Resources by Content Type > Newspapers.
