What is Passport?

Passport (formerly known as GMID) is a powerful business database containing detailed statistics on industries and markets. Examples of industries covered include Consumer Health, Fresh Food and Luxury Goods. Some specific markets covered include coffee, eyewear and luxury leather goods among others.

Country specific statistics are available for deeper analysis. For example you could generate the annual sales of coffee in Singapore and see if there is an up or downtrend. Information is also available on the brands and their market share. 

Further detailed, regular analyses of the industries is provided by the Passport staff.

Passport will be useful to anyone who is interested to look at industry specific statistics and trends by country.

Navigating Passport

Select the industry you are interested in from the top bar, or the Country Reports: Datagraphics section. Continue to select the industry category, followed by the specific country.

 

Who should use Passport?

Passport will be useful to anyone who is interested to look at industry specific statistics and trends by country.

For example ASC staff and students may be interested to look at Consumer Health reports and statistics. BUS staff and students may be interested in the Hot Drinks industries for research into marketing efforts.

The statistics and analyses available make Passport useful and accessible to most students.
