Book citations

For APA v7, the place of publication is no longer indicated. E-books from library databases or e-resources are cited just like printed books.

Basic form of book citation

Author, A. A., & Author B. B. (Date). Title: Subtitle. Publisher.

Author's last (or family) name, followed by first and middle names in initials. Use a comma between author's names and an "&" before the last author's name. Find out more about author names.

Year in brackets.

Include a subtitle if it exists. Both the title and subtitle are in italics. Capitalize only the first words in the title and subtitle and proper nouns.

If there are more than one publisher for the work, list all of them separated with a semicolon.
